There is an entire story behind our Belgian Contingentbadge. The background is the European blue and together with the stars it points out the central position of Belgium within Europe. The number of stars, 5, refers to the 5 Scouting and Guiding federations in Belgium, that form one Belgian Contingent.
The Belgian colours are to be found in the doves. The doves also refer to the official logo of the World Jamboree and the motto “One World, One Promise”.
The sun refers tot “Scouting Sunrise” and the dawn of a new century for scouting.
In the center at the top is the “Guides and Scouts from Belgium” (GSB) logo.

Our contingentbadge is exists of two parts, separated by a green line.
Every Belgian participant will have this entire badge on his uniform.

The two parts also exist seperately:

The lower part is our swapbadge. It is also ideal to establish a first contact and to promote our Belgian rally.

The upper part can be obtained by participating in our Belgian rally. If you visit 5 Belgian Troops, 2 Belgian World Villages and the Belgian Contingenttent and each time you participate in a small activity, you can obtain this part.
